In practical terms, overseas clients communicate through China IP Gateway, while China-side regulated IP execution is supported through Zhiquan where appropriate.

OpenPTO Hong Kong supports international coordination, engagement, invoicing, and payment settlement where appropriate. It is not presented as the China-side IP execution entity and not as the legal decision-maker. Its role is to support cross-border coordination and payment flow so overseas clients can engage more easily.

Peter Lin is the founder and client-facing lead of China IP Gateway. He leads the intake, strategy, communication, and supplier-control judgment for overseas clients dealing with China-side IP, NNN, OEM, manufacturing, tooling, contract, and supplier-control issues. Peter previously spent five years at Foxconn before building China-side IP, contract, and supplier-control work in Shenzhen.

You Xiaoming / 尤小明 provides China-side legal support / legal counsel support where a matter involves contract review, supplier disputes, legal-risk handling, enforcement coordination, or China-side dispute-related legal input. His role helps complete the China IP Gateway trust chain, especially for matters that go beyond simple IP filing or template NNN documents and involve supplier conflict, contract risk, or legal positioning in China.

China IP Gateway focuses on China-side IP protection, supplier-control review, NNN/OEM/manufacturing agreement structure, tooling and file-control issues, contract-risk review, supplier-dispute positioning, and coordination of China-side IP and legal support where appropriate. For matters outside this focused scope, such as complex litigation, tax, employment, criminal matters, broader corporate transactions, or foreign-law advice, we coordinate suitable specialist support where needed.

No. China IP Gateway is not a hidden intermediary or commission-based sourcing middleman. Clients communicate directly with Peter Lin on strategy, intake, and supplier-control judgment. China-side IP execution, legal support, coordination, and payment roles are explained openly so clients can understand who is doing what. We do not present a black-box structure, and we do not sell blind supplier introductions or free factory lists.
